You must be at least 18 years old to use KrewQuest. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to request verification of your age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide, including your name, email, and profile details. You may only create one account per person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at krewquest.com/contact.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that uses false information, impersonates another person, or violates these Terms.
KrewQuest may require identity verification through a third-party verification provider (currently Veriff) as a condition of using certain features or continuing to use the Service. This process may require you to submit a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie for comparison. Verification data is processed by our third-party provider in accordance with their privacy policy and is used solely to confirm your identity and prevent fraud, impersonation, and underage use. We do not store copies of your identity documents on our servers. You agree to cooperate with any verification requests, and failure to complete verification when requested may result in restricted access or account suspension.
Pricing. The current subscription fee is $20.00 USD per month. Promotional pricing, including Founding Member discounts, may be offered at our discretion and is subject to the terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Auto-Renewal. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel before the next billing date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
No Refunds. All subscription payments are non-refundable. When you cancel, you will retain access to the Service through the end of your current billing period, but no partial or full refund will be issued.
Price Changes. We may change our subscription pricing at any time. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following notice of the change.
KrewQuest is a community built on respect and shared growth. You agree not to:
• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post or transmit content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or violent
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations
• Create fake profiles or use the Service for catfishing
• Send spam, unsolicited promotions, or commercial messages to other users
• Attempt to circumvent the paywall, manipulate the matching system, or exploit bugs for unintended purposes
• Use the Service to stalk, surveil, or collect personal information about other users
• Use the Service for any illegal activity
• Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
We reserve the right to remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
KrewQuest uses automated content moderation tools, including keyword filtering and profanity replacement, to help maintain a safe environment. While we strive to prevent harmful content and behavior, we cannot guarantee that all interactions will be safe or appropriate.
KrewQuest uses AI-powered algorithms to suggest potential matches based on information you voluntarily provide in your profile, including your goals, interests, and activity preferences. These suggestions are exactly that — suggestions. KrewQuest does not guarantee the compatibility, character, intentions, or conduct of any user. We do not perform background checks on users (beyond optional identity verification). Any decision to communicate with, meet, or engage with another user is entirely your own, made at your own discretion and at your own risk. KrewQuest bears no responsibility or liability for the outcome of any interaction, communication, or meeting between users, whether online or in person.
If you choose to meet another user in person, you do so entirely at your own risk and sole responsibility. We strongly recommend meeting in public places, informing a trusted person of your plans, and taking any other precautions you deem appropriate for your personal safety.
KrewQuest collects and uses your location data to provide core features of the Service, including suggesting nearby events, matching you with users in your area, and personalizing your experience. Location data may be collected through:
• Browser geolocation with your explicit permission
• Address information you provide during onboarding or in your profile settings, which is processed using the Google Places API
Your location data is stored on our servers and is used solely for the purposes described above and in our Privacy Policy. You may update your location at any time through your profile settings. Approximate location information (such as your city) may be visible to other users as part of your profile. Your precise address is never shared with other users.
KrewQuest uses artificial intelligence ("Krew AI") to provide features including, but not limited to:
• Generating personalized missions, daily tasks, and side quests
• Matching users based on shared goals and interests
• Creating and curating community events
• Sending ice-breaker messages on behalf of matched users
• Providing motivational messages and coaching-style support
AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Krew AI is not a licensed therapist, counselor, financial advisor, or medical professional. Do not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.
We use third-party AI services (including Moonshot AI) to power these features. Your interactions with Krew AI may be processed by these third-party services in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.
"User Content" means any text, images, profile information, messages, or other materials you submit through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant KrewQuest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
We may remove User Content at any time and for any reason, including content that violates these Terms.
The KrewQuest name, logo, design, and all original content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by KrewQuest and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
By You. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile, personal data, and content will be permanently removed from our systems, subject to any legal retention requirements and reasonable backup/archival processes.
By Us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. If we terminate your account, you will not be entitled to a refund of any subscription fees.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY MATCHES OR CONNECTIONS WILL RESULT IN MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KREWQUEST AND ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURY, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS ARISING FROM:
• YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
• YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS, WHETHER ONLINE OR IN PERSON
• ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY USER OR THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE
• YOUR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, MATCH SUGGESTIONS, OR EVENT RECOMMENDATIONS
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You acknowledge that KrewQuest is a platform that facilitates connections between individuals and that inherent risks are involved in interacting with strangers, whether online or in person. By using the Service, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your interactions with other users, including but not limited to risks of personal injury, property damage, emotional distress, or financial loss. You agree that KrewQuest is not responsible for the actions, behavior, or conduct of any user and that you will not hold KrewQuest liable for any claims arising from your interactions with other users.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND KREWQUEST EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL FOR ANY DISPUTE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. YOU ALSO AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST KREWQUEST.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"). Arbitration shall take place in Sacramento County, California. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree that by entering into these Terms, you are waiving the right to trial by jury or to participate in a class action. This arbitration provision shall survive termination of your account and these Terms.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights, including but not limited to temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and permanent injunctions. In the event of such infringement, the infringing party shall be liable for all costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the non-infringing party in enforcing its rights. Any user found to have copied, reproduced, reverse-engineered, or created derivative works from KrewQuest's proprietary technology, algorithms, designs, or content shall have their account immediately terminated and shall be subject to legal action seeking all available remedies under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KrewQuest and its owner from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your interactions with other users, or your violation of any rights of another person.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. To the extent that litigation is permitted under these Terms, any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
